Green and sustainable laundry
Category: Tutorial

Here are some good practices for green and sustainable laundry.
Like every 22 April, today we celebrate the Earth Day and remember how important it is to try to reduce waste and our environmental impact to combat climate and ecological change and respect the Planet we live on.
At the laundry we try every day to minimise the impacts of our business and wash and dry your clothes in a more sustainable way.
First of all, we wash your garments with more gentle washes and at low temperatures to limit energy waste and not to deteriorate the quality of the fabric.
We avoid incomplete loads in the washing machine to reduce the use of water and use eco-friendly products and detergents on tap, which you can also buy in the shop and save on laundry costs.
Finally, we take advantage of the sun and wind to dry your laundry by hanging it out in the open air. In addition to lowering energy consumption, air-drying prolongs the life of your clothes because it is gentler on the fabric than a tumble dryer, gives clothes and bed linen a pleasant fresh, clean scent and, if laid out well, the garment will also be easier to iron.
